Key Roles and Responsibilities

Lead a large team of Global Sales Support (GSS)Centerof Competence (CoC) in Cairo, Egypt with overall management responsibility of GSS in the location

Responsible and accountable for achieving financial metrics forCoC-assigned MEA customers (Sales, Order Intake, Conversion Rate, P&L) through a team of customer-facing SSMs

Responsible for governance of GSS Performance KPIs (Opex, No. of cases, Quality Index, Utilization)

Improve deal quality, deal qualification, hit rate, market share, total value won and profitability

Pioneer and implement e2e offer management for selective small/mid-size customers and then expanding towards a broader reach

Drive MN Sales target setting towards the Market Unit/CBT/CT

Support designated CTs and MN PPS MEA to meet business targets in GSS Complete Mode

Drive and coordinate all PPS sales activities towards theCoCcustomers through CTs

Manage, monitor and controlCoCcosts and ensure Opex within budget

Ensure Business continuity, manage risks and ensure SOX compliance at theCenter

Drive upsell programs in GSS e.g. Sales Push, Analytics-based Sales Prospecting, Software Sales, etc.

Member of GSS and MN PPS MEA Leadership Team (LT)

Represent GSS and MN in the Country Management Team/Site office committee

Build working relationships with Market Heads, CTs, RBC and BGs

Proactive approach in handling designated Local customers

Focus on growing support by spearheading new initiatives and services thatCoCcan offer

Line Management of theCenter

Competence development of theCoC/ best practice sharing

Forecast of cases and portfolio demand from Local customers

Assure quality of deliverables coming fromCoC

Ensure Cases/tasks prioritization when resource bandwidth issues come up

Monitor Bid Box Tracker tool and keep it updated for KPI reporting

Escalation management from CT, BU Head and PL

Ensure that required process maps, quality guidelines, and practices are in place and followed

Recruit and ensure manpower demand and supply to meet the needs ofCoCcustomers

CostCenterplanning as perCoCguidelines

Put demand for travel /CoDein time to ensureCenterramp up on time

Encourage team to be aware and sensitive about company financials

Align and comply with local Country/Legal/HR/OHS and Admin policies/practices

Support Site-level Employee Engagement events


Thorough understanding of GSS and MN pre-sales process/ tools and key point of contact for MN, CO and other units in MEA

Excellent Customer Business Understanding, especially MEA customers

Manage/resolve bid and support related issues

Solution Selling ability and understanding of solution insertion points in customer networks

Familiarity with Nokia s bidding landscape and Pre-sales knowledge

Experience in direct sales, customer teams or solution management is an added advantage

Bachelors/Masters, preferably in Electronics/Communication/Electrical/Telecom/IT

  • An Electronics & Communications Engineering graduate /Post Graduate

  • Fluent in English and French(preferable)

  • 20 years of relevant experience
