Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement. Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping.
Responsible for material planning and inventory metrics for multi-year parts agreement.
Monitor theresults of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications.
Plan forprevention of excess inventory and stock outs.
Work with all levels of personnel internally in resolving issues, tracking material availability, andadvising on material usage.
Work with customers externally and internally to identify newopportunities to improve our current processes.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Materials Management.
Experience working with ERP systems like Oracle and/or SAP.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Fluency in English language (writing, reading, speaking, listening)
Willingness and ability to work in industrial shop environment.
Experience in railroad industry
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
